Role
As a Ceramics Tutor in our Adult Education Service you will design, plan and deliver lessons to adult learners, track their progress, provide advice and guidance through one‑to‑one sessions, and carry out marking and assessments. You will work proactively to maximise outcomes and identify progression opportunities for learners.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan and deliver high‑quality ceramics lessons for adult learners.
- Track student progress and provide individual advice and guidance.
- Carry out marking and assessment to monitor and maximise learning outcomes.
- Engage, inspire and motivate diverse groups of learners across mixed ability levels.
- Support learners to develop new skills, progress and achieve their goals.
Qualifications
- Established professional with a Level4 Ceramics qualification.
- Teaching qualification at Level3 or above.
- Strong industry knowledge and relevant experience in contemporary ceramics practice.
- Experience teaching adult learners on accredited courses.
