AI Transformation Project Manager

Practice Group / Department: Business Transformation – London. This role operates within a multi‑disciplinary Business Transformation team delivering an ongoing Digital Transformation programme to test, select and adopt AI across all business units and legal teams in a safe and responsible way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and drive the delivery of complex AI initiatives ensuring delivery against roadmap priorities, measurable outcomes and accelerated time to value.
  • Lead working groups across internal operations functions to execute pilots and deliver projects.
  • Manage and deliver AI pilots, including business case definition, project plans, ROI measurement, process improvement reviews and mapping, data modelling and analysis, solution assessment, implementation planning, and training.
  • Lead project execution for AI tooling and agentic solutions.
  • Identify training needs and conduct adoption analysis.
  • Track success measures for internal operations AI tooling and develop project control documentation such as plans, action logs, RAID logs.
  • Support planning and execution of digital solutions projects, providing structural advice on ways of working, organisation design, processes and technology.
  • Guide process and system analysis, re‑engineer processes for efficiency gains, cost savings and standardisation.
  • Support change management, AI adoption and communications, identifying change impacts and sequencing delivery, creating relevant communications and training.
  • Support stakeholder definition and mapping; define and track success metrics, ROI measurements, benefits realisation and reporting.
  • Educate colleagues in project delivery tools and skills.
  • Identify and communicate interdependencies between projects, actively reducing siloes across the business.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in utilising a breadth of project management approaches and tools, adjusting and applying them as appropriate.
  • Strong experience delivering large‑scale, complex, multi‑geographical/global transformation programmes (legal sector highly desirable).
  • Experience in the legal sector or professional services (highly desirable).
  • Proficient at presenting formal and informal findings convincingly and writing clearly for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, including presentations, editing and proofreading.
  • Deep understanding of change management, adoption and communication principles.
  • Experience or strong interest in AI technology solutions and their value proposition.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies and adoption methods.
  • Collaborative and flexible approach with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, changeable environments, tailoring the approach.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter, adaptable, pragmatic, decisive and operates with pace.
  • Proficient in workshop facilitation, process analysis, documentation, process modelling.
  • Relevant project management or process improvement qualifications: PrinceII, APMP, Scrum, SixSigma (desirable).
