Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Housekeep, you will:

• Understand complex business problems and propose and implement technical solutions.
• Provide leading input into frontend architecture, working closely with the Head of Technology and other frontend engineers.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and the business to improve user experiences.
• Bring your experience and enthusiasm to our engineering culture.
• Promote excellence through technical mentoring, feedback, and code reviews.
• Participate in planning sessions, retrospectives, stand‑ups, and demos.
• Help curate a codebase that is maintainable, testable, and of high quality.

Candidate Requirements

• You have built great web and/or mobile applications.
• You have analysed business problems, scoped and built technical solutions to solve them.

Technical Stack

• Angular and TypeScript on the client side for our mobile apps and booking flow.
• Next.js and React for parts of our marketing website.
• Bootstrap and Chakra UI for styling.
• Ionic for hybrid and progressive mobile apps.
• Cypress for end‑to‑end testing.
• Python on the server side, using Django Rest Framework for our API and PostgreSQL for our database.
• Metabase for analysis and self‑serve data exploration.
• GitHub, Codeship and Heroku for seamless code review, integration and deployment.
• Claude Code for agentic coding.
• AWS S3, CloudFront and Lambda for storage and content delivery.
