Ready to step up and take real ownership of your cases? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a high‑performing Restructuring & Insolvency team working on diverse, complex corporate assignments.
The Role
You’ll lead a portfolio of administrations, CVLs, MVLs, CVAs and pre‑packs, driving case strategy, managing stakeholders, and ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in asset realisation, statutory compliance, and mentoring junior colleagues — while contributing to wider team development and business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Run insolvency cases independently, including trading and pre‑pack administrations
- Lead smaller engagements with confidence and minimal supervision
- Conduct redundancies and interpret key insolvency legislation
- Produce high‑quality reports, statutory documents, and financial analysis
- Manage stakeholder relationships across directors, creditors, and advisors
- Guide junior team members and review their work
- Prepare VAT/CT filings, cashflows, SOAs and estimated outcome statements
- Support internal training, process improvements, and business development
What You Bring
- 4+ years’ corporate insolvency experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation
- Proven ability to manage cases from cradle to grave
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- IPS and Microsoft Office proficiency
- ACA/ACCA or JIEB a bonus
