The Legal Services Project Support Officer role is a key fixed‑term opportunity (1 year) to support a major project to systematise the Council’s legal records. Working closely with the Legal Services team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating the reorganisation and digitisation of title deeds, contracts and associated documentation, ensuring all records are accurately converted, indexed and securely managed. Acting as the central point of coordination between the supervisory solicitor and the projects team, the role will drive delivery of the project to time and quality standards.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with strong communication and coordination skills, capable of managing competing priorities and working collaboratively across teams. Experience of tracking projects, producing clear progress reports and building effective stakeholder relationships is desirable (but not essential), alongside a flexible and solution‑focused approach. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in legal service delivery and lead coordination within a public sector environment.
