Salary: GBP45,000 – GBP52,000 per annum, 34 days holiday, life assurance

Working hours: Monday – Friday, with plenty of overtime

Role & Responsibilities

• Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long‑term machine reliability
• Execute the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively and reactively
• Use appropriate root‑cause analysis tools and 5S
• Actively support a culture of continuous improvement, engineering out persistent problems
• Carry out routine planned preventive maintenance
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or apprenticeship trained
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong understanding of good engineering standards
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or production environments
