Senior Clinical Fellow (ST6+ / POST CCT) – Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP/EUS)

Applications are invited for a full‑time, 12‑month fixed term post starting 5 August 2026. The role is based in the tertiary endoscopy service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where you will develop advanced endoscopy expertise and may contribute to active clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Attend 3‑4 specialist training lists and 3‑4 service endoscopy lists each week.
• Provide outpatient endoscopy care, including 1 clinic per week.
• Engage in clinical administration, professional development and research activities.
• Provide no ward work or overnight call cover.

Qualifications

• Senior trainee or equivalent with JAG accreditation (or equivalent).
• CCST/CCT/CESR (CP) in Gastroenterology or relevant specialty desirable, or approval for OOPE.
• Minimum of one year training in grade I ERCP.
• Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC in place before the start date.
