LOCATION; LEICESTERSHIRE
We are working with a highly established aerospace manufacturing business supplying precision-engineered components into global aviation and advanced engineering markets. The site is a high-spec, fast-paced production environment operating a range of advanced CNC machinery, robotic cells, and automated manufacturing systems.
Due to continued growth and increased order demand, the business is expanding its engineering team across multiple shifts. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a technically challenging environment where no two days are the same and where continuous improvement and engineering development are actively encouraged.
You will be working across a variety of shift patterns including weekday rotation and dedicated weekend coverage, supporting a modern manufacturing facility that values both proactive engineering and rapid breakdown response.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working in a technical, precision-led environment, particularly those who want exposure to CNC machinery, robotics, and advanced manufacturing systems while developing new skills within a secure and structured business.
Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:
Respond quickly and effectively to machine breakdowns and production issues
Carry out planned preventative maintenance across CNC machines, robot cells and site equipment
Support the development and improvement of maintenance schedules and reliability plans
Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Support continuous improvement and engineering development projects
Work collaboratively within shift teams to maintain production output
Liaise with contractors and external engineers while ensuring site compliance standards
Support health & safety and site improvement initiatives
