Senior Civil Engineer – Highways & Drainage

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead projects, mentor engineers and play a key role in delivering highways and drainage schemes in Manchester City Centre.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will oversee highways and drainage projects with a strong focus on drainage design. You will manage resources, supervise project delivery, ensure technical quality, and support the development of engineers across the team. You will be leading project meetings, coordinating workloads, reviewing designs and supporting clients while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Civil Engineering team
• Strong drainage and highways design knowledge
• Experience using MicroDrainage, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and resource planning skills
• Understanding of CDM and project delivery processes
