The Performance and Reporting Manager (intermediate) is responsible for assisting and supporting the PMO Performance and Reporting Lead team with the review and development of a performance and reporting framework, including the development of processes and procedures, systems and controls, and reporting templates to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the performance of the AMP8 Framework. The role holder supports ensuring that the performance and reporting framework is complied with across the project and that reporting deliverables and associated performance analysis adhere to relevant quality and standards. The role holder also supports the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and oversees the gathering of programme data including reporting project performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supports in establishing Programme Controls reporting requirements and formats for the Metrolink Programme.
  • Develops forms and tools for collecting project and programme status information.
  • Coordinates production and distribution of key weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Supports in establishing and maintaining the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting calendar.
  • Supports the design, implementation, and governance of the programme’s performance reporting framework.
  • Manage and mentor a team of reporting analysts and engineers, ensuring high-quality outputs and professional development.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of programme-level reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project controls, finance, risk, and delivery teams to ensure integrated and consistent reporting.
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, construction, project management.
  • Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institution (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, PMP, CAP).
