A rare opportunity has come up at International Copiers for a Class 2 qualified driver. The role will be varied and will include: Class 2 driving & Van Driving. The ideal candidate would need to be willing to cover holiday for our north run driver which includes Monday – Friday tramping.
The role would include moving photocopiers, so although manual handling training is provided a basic knowledge of manual handling practices would be preferred.
Duties:– Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods– Load and unload photocopiers using appropriate equipment– Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations– Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues– Maintain accurate records of deliveries– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Requirements:– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record– Proven experience as a Class 2 driver or delivery driver– Commercial driving experience preferred– Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
