We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Oncology Core Trainee (ST1&2), formerly known as Senior House Officer (SHO), to join our dynamic oncology department. You will also have the chance to participate in clinical trials and contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives that advance the field of oncology.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the comprehensive management of patients with cancer, working with a multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary care.
- Contribute to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in oncology.
- Gain experience in chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and supportive care for oncology patients.
- Participate in clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives that advance oncology.
Qualifications
- Medical degree recognized by the GMC
- Completed Foundation Training (F1/F2) or equivalent
- Experience in medical oncology or related specialties is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and compassionate approach to patient care
