Maintenance Engineer – Crediton, Devon
51,000 – 54,000 + Bonus scheme
Monday-Thursday Nights – Training period on days

Role & Responsibilities
- Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability
- Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively
- Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S
- Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems
- Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
- Continuous improvement knowledge
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
- Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments
