As a DRET Sports Enrichment Officer (SEO) you will support the school in delivering the Trust’s sports enrichment agenda and their sports plan. Alongside PE staff you will help create, promote and deliver the sports offering and encourage and enthuse our students to take part.
The role will also work closely with the Head of PE to ensure all enrichment opportunities are promoted, delivered, reported, and organised to a high standard throughout the school.
Fixed term until 31 August 2027, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the sports enrichment agenda and sports plan in partnership with PE staff.
- Plan, organise and deliver sports programmes, events and initiatives.
- Promote enrichment opportunities to students and staff.
- Report on the delivery of enrichment activities to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Passion for sport, ideally with experience in education, coaching, sports development or the events sector.
- Energetic, organised, inspiring and outcome‑driven, with a desire to make a difference and strive for excellence.
- Considering a PGCE or relevant coaching qualification is advantageous.
