Clinical Development Nurse – South West

Job Summary

As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester, you will lead, support and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care across four care homes in Dorset, Isle of Wight and Yeovil.

Responsibilities

• Review the clinical governance database and KPIs of each home monthly and analyse results.
• Identify strategies to meet regulations and improve care delivery.
• Work closely with Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior staff to implement improvement actions.
• Organise new training, support staff recruitment and deliver clinical investigations.
• Travel regularly within the region.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN General) with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Experience working in a care home, confident as a clinical mentor, especially with newly-qualified nurses.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
