Location: UK (Hybrid) • Office requirement: Hybrid – 2 days per week in London office • Employment type: Permanent
As our Video Specialist you’ll:
Be a skilled and self-sufficient video producer who can take a project from brief to final delivery without missing a beat. You will film with confidence, edit at pace, and create animations that make ideas land. You will sit within the Creative Studio alongside designers and content creators, and help shape what motion looks like at GWI, bringing your own creative point of view to how we use video and animation across campaigns, social content, product launches and internal communications. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you will work across all go‑to‑market teams to produce video that attracts the right audiences, supports the sales journey, and reflects the quality of a company that takes its craft seriously. You will need to understand how different video formats serve different business objectives and be able to execute everything from punchy social clips and animated explainers to long‑form thought leadership and event coverage.
What you’ll own:
- Filming and on‑set production: Plan, set up, and execute video shoots independently, handling lighting, framing and audio across a range of formats from interview and talking‑head setups to product demonstrations and event coverage.
- Editing and post‑production: Edit footage to a high standard and deliver at pace, including cutting, colour grading, audio mixing, captioning and exporting in the right specifications for each platform.
- Motion graphics and animation: Create sophisticated animations and motion graphics that elevate our video content and extend beyond it, producing high‑quality motion work that stands on its own.
- AI tools and workflow innovation: Actively use AI tools to increase speed and quality of video output, learning new developments and sharing them with the team.
- Cross‑team content support: Work directly with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales and PR teams to create video that supports events, product launches, campaigns, partnerships and revenue initiatives.
- Content performance and optimisation: Track how video content performs against business objectives and optimise based on what drives leads, conversions and revenue impact.
- Brand voice and visual consistency: Work within GWI’s brand direction and help shape what it looks and feels like in motion, ensuring coherence across every touchpoint.
What do I need to bring with me?
We’re looking for someone who brings strong experience across the role. Here’s what the team will be looking for:
- Demonstrable experience filming and editing professional video content across multiple formats and platforms, with a portfolio to show for it.
- Proven ability to deliver publish‑ready video content end‑to‑end, from shoot planning through to final export, with minimal supervision.
- Strong motion graphics and animation skills, using tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Experience working at pace in a creative studio, agency or in‑house brand environment.
- A strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to the quality of what you put out.
