Are you an experienced Electrical / Avionics Engineer looking to play a key role in the future of commercial aircraft modification?
We are seeking a talented Part 21 Electrical / Avionics Engineer to join a growing, high-performing engineering team focused on delivering innovative aircraft modification solutions to global airline customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, large-scale modification programmes, supporting certification activities and delivering compliant, high-quality engineering outputs within a collaborative, international environment.
The Role
You will support the certification and delivery of aircraft modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal design standards. Working closely with global engineering teams, you will help drive solutions from concept through to certification and in-service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with international engineering teams to define requirements and develop solutions across multiple programmes
- Lead and contribute to design activities covering electrical and avionics system modifications
- Drive certification activities, including test witnessing and regulatory compliance
- Produce and review engineering documentation, including: Wiring diagrams and installation drawings Harness and routing designs Service bulletins and embodiment instructions
- Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)
- Compile and validate certification deliverables such as: Electrical load analysis, Test plans and reports
- Compliance statements and certification programmes
- Safety assessments, EWIS and equipment qualification documentation
Represent engineering at key project milestones (e.g. PDR, CDR, FAI) and support customers during embodiment
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical / Avionics Engineering or Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering
- Strong experience within an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation (or equivalent)
In-depth knowledge of airworthiness regulations including CS-25, FAR-25, JAR-25 and (E)TSO requirements
Preferred Experience
- EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) experience
- Aircraft interior and/or avionics modification programmes
- Large-scale aircraft modification projects
- Familiarity with OEM specification systems and engineering standards
- Strong documentation and compliance experience
