The Role
We’re looking for a confident and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the pub and hotel. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, leads from the front, and understands both wet-led pub operations and rooms/hotel management .You will play a key role in leading the team, driving performance, and building strong ties within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Support the General Manager in delivering smooth day-to-day operationsLead shifts across bar, restaurant, and roomsEnsure high standards of service, cleanliness, and complianceManage stock, cellar standards, and cost controlsHandle guest feedback, complaints, and resolutions professionally
Rooms & Accommodation
Oversee bookings, occupancy, and front desk operationsEnsure rooms are maintained to high standards and guest-readyWork closely with housekeeping to drive consistencyMonitor performance and support revenue optimisation
Team Leadership
Train, motivate, and develop team membersLead by example in a fast-paced environmentSupport recruitment and onboardingBuild a positive, high-performing team culture

About You
