- Support and challenge school leadership to drive improvement
As an academy trustee, you’ll help guide the wider trust by:

- A structured induction to help you get started with confidence
- Supportive and welcoming governing boards who work collaboratively
- A dedicated central team to guide and support you throughout your role
- Access to high-quality training to build your knowledge and skills

- Prepare by reviewing papers and reports (support provided as you learn)
- Potentially take on additional responsibilities as you grow into the role
- Complete occasional training sessions to support your development

- Completion of a DBS check (required for working with children)
- Adherence to our Code of Conduct and the Nolan Principles of Public Life
- To meet the eligibility criteria
