Casual Community Support Worker | Burnley and Pendle Day Service | Burnley & Surrounding Area

We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support. The role is a casual Community Support Worker at Burnley and Pendle Day Service, operating between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Casual hours per week approximately 1 (flexible).

Key responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, support with finances, medication and other day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Support people into the community to participate in activities such as shopping or outdoor outings.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, providing reassurance and positivity in challenging situations.
  • Work as part of a team delivering both building‑based and community support.

Qualifications & qualities

  • Passion to make a difference and a caring nature.
  • Empathy and resilience; ability to stay motivated during tough days.
  • Good communication skills.
  • No previous background in Health and Social Care required; training will be provided.
  • Open to progression through qualifications and training opportunities.

Pendle Day Service, Rigby St, Nelson, BB9 7AA.
