The Role
Your role as a Client Partner is about understanding your clients in every way; you will be central to the relationship we hold – you will be the client within the agency. You will need to understand what’s keeping your clients awake at night, getting deep into their business – both operationally and strategically. You will bring to them the best of what we have on offer to ensure effective problem solving and brand growth. You will spend a lot of time with your clients, ensuring a trusted and transparent working relationship. Internally, you will work closely with the MX Planning team and other departments such as Data, Insight, etc. You are running a business unit and it needs to be profitable and show year‑on‑year growth. This role is leading one of our most prestigious and longest partnerships, Domino’s.

Requirements
For your team, you will be a leading figure, bridging the needs of the client and the wider agency.
- Effectively manage upwards; build positive cross‑functional relationships and provide solutions when escalating issues.
- Work with specialist team leads to manage hours dedicated to the account to ensure profitability.
- Communicate account challenges upwards and suggest structural changes to retainer/contract.
- Take a proactive view to talent management within the team, optimising development of others through tools and resources.
- Work with HR when required to manage and resolve conflict situations, and if needed, handle disciplinary matters.
For Your Clients, you represent The Best Of Havas and build brilliant, trusted relationships based on exceptional work and genuine interest in their business.
- Identify commercial opportunities for the client that align with wider agency goals.
- Make commercial decisions guided by strategic business plans and recommendations.
- Develop and apply market and economic insight to support commercial decision making.
- Actively seek opinions from others in the Havas village to aid decision making and opportunity development.
- Independently engage in tasks requiring high interpretation of complex information.
- Articulate how business priorities, client demands, and other commercial considerations influence our work, whilst proactively managing risk.
Role Competencies
- Use industry knowledge to identify planning, strategic and commercial improvements for clients and Havas Group.
- Ensure all strategic and annual planning includes ‘Source of Growth’ analysis supported by analytics benchmarks.
- Understand Havas products and services to help clients meet their short- and long-term objectives.
- Produce innovative ideas that may lead to award‑nominated work.
- Provide direction in using tools to interrogate hypotheses.
- Critically evaluate sources, draw conclusions from multiple information streams.
- Make evidence‑based judgments on a range of topics related to your area of expertise.
- Create clear measurement frameworks and set guidance for KPIs to assess plan viability.
- Support others to see the bigger picture and encourage broader thinking.
