Our client is a subscription led B2B data, intelligence, and events company, providing business development-led market research across the US and European renewable energy, power, and data centre industries.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a commercially focused New Business Development Manager – who has sold Subscriptions to drive growth in the European Data Centre market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B subscription-based sales, within short cycles particularly within data centres, digital infrastructure, or related technology sectors. You will be responsible for winning new subscription clients.
We want to hear from someone who has held roles as a NEW BUSINESS WINNER – selling subscriptions.
Responsibilities
- Develop new subscription-based business opportunities through a proactive go-to-market strategy.
- Identify clients where the company can add the greatest value through subscription solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for subscription accounts, from prospecting to closing deals.
- This is a hunter focused position where your experience as a New Business winner is crucial to the success and outcome of the company requirements.
Required Skills
- Pure new business / outbound hunters — not account managers or consultative relationship sellers.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in B2B subscription-based sales ideally in data centres, digital infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Stable tenure.
- Proven track record of new business development and revenue growth.
- Short sales cycle.
- Self-driven and able to manage workload effectively under pressure.
- Forward-thinking, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and client demos.
- Team player with a personable and professional approach.
