Job Overview

This role is to join an established building services design consultancy, where you will be focused on the design of data centre projects.

The environment is supportive, and geared towards your ongoing development, offering you exposure to interesting and highly technical work in the data centre sector. The people you will be working alongside are a friendly enthusiastic team of engineers with collaboration at centre of their culture.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, through design, supervision and finally completion.
• Developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client’s brief.
• Carrying out the detailed electrical services design and calculations.
• Production/writing of electrical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers.
• Representing the business alone or attending with a more senior engineer for a wide range of meetings with clients, design team and site.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering, preferred although not essential.
• Design experience in electrical building systems.
• Some previous data centre / critical systems design experience is essential.
• Confident user of industry standard software.
