Job Title: SC Cleared QA Engineer

Location: Farnborough 2-3 days onsite on average

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Rate: TBC open to discussion

Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC Clearance process

Our client, a reputable organisation in the IT sector, is hiring for a skilled SC Cleared QA Engineer to join their dynamic team in Farnborough. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects within a collaborative, agile environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts (manual and automated) for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software bugs using JIRA, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Python, Java, JUnit) to enhance testing efficiency.
• Build test environments, manage test data, and conduct API/database validation.
• Participate in agile team meetings (Scrum), review requirements, and contribute to code reviews to ensure quality from early stages.

What you’ll bring:

• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Selenium and TestNG, along with programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Typically, 3-5+ years in software quality assurance, with solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
