About the role
Justteachers is hiring an Alternative Provision Tutor for a specialist education setting in Milton Keynes. This full‑time role starts April 2026 and ends July 2027. You will deliver targeted learning interventions for pupils at risk of exclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to small groups
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Track and report pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams
- Implement behaviour support plans
Pre‑requisites
- Experience teaching or supporting pupils in alternative provision or SEN settings
- Flexible, patient, and resilient approach
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Two references from educational or SEN contexts
