Driving PA support required to help assist a young man accessing the community. The young man requiring support has Autism, Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy on one side. He’s extremely outgoing, friendly and has a wide range of hobbies and interests. The individual requiring support is very routine based. The role will involve providing gentle encouragement, promoting independence and offering advice and guidance.
The role involves supporting him to access the community, build confidence, and promote independence. This includes helping him develop the skills and confidence needed to use public transport independently, such as travelling by bus.
You will also support him in exploring and securing a suitable volunteer role that matches his interests and strengths. An important part of the role is offering guidance and encouragement around managing friendships and relationships, helping him build positive connections while promoting independence and self‑confidence.

- Clean driving license.
Hobbies and Interests
The individual requiring support has a wide range of hobbies and interests. He has a real passion for history and particularly enjoys going metal detecting.
Staying active is important to him, and he regularly enjoys taking part in Parkrun.
Support Network
Great family support network, wide range of friends.
There are 3 dogs within the home who are outside dogs.
The individual requiring support does not smoke and smoking is not permitted during working hours.
Job Details
The role is for 4 hours per week, the support is required over the weekend.
Hourly rate for an employed PA is £13 per hour and £15.60 for a self‑employed PA.
