Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to begin your teaching journey? DSLV Primary School is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our supportive and forward-thinking team within KS1 or KS2.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated teacher who is committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning. You will benefit from a structured ECT programme, high-quality mentoring, and ongoing professional development to help you grow in confidence and expertise.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high quality teaching across the KS1 or KS2 curriculum ensuring good progress for all pupils
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations, curiosity and good behaviour
- Assess, record and report on pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and targeted support
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners including SEND and EAL
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers to support learning and well being
Pay range: MPS – £32,916 – £45,352
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Successful completion (or near completion) of a recognised Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme
- Eligibility to work within a KS1 or KS2 setting
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Commitment to professional development and willingness to learn
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
