Job Description

You will be responsible for transporting customers & their bikes to the summit of BikePark as part of our uplift service, ensuring that all procedures are followed on a daily basis and providing an excellent customer service to all our visitors.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Full, clean British driving licence qualified to D1, or D1E or DE (no 101 restriction)
  • PSV CPC driver card (required)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport pre-paid customers to the top of the Mountain Bike Trail network on rotation.
  • Ensure minibus and trailer are in full working order at the beginning of shift, including a visual walk-around inspection and mechanical inspections as part of the daily defect checks.
  • Report any vehicular mechanical issues with BikePark Wales’ Transport Manager.
  • Ensure that the minibuses and trailers are clean and tidy, and maintain an excellent company image.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
  • Previous experience of working as a passenger driver.
  • Familiar with using a digital tachograph.
  • Be organised, honest and reliable.
  • Have a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Comfortable working with members of the public.
  • Should have a confident manner.
  • Must be helpful and polite.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.
  • Be able to adapt to challenging driving conditions.

Job Type

Fixed term contract – seasonal basis, mainly working around busy times on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during summer school holidays. Position runs from Thursday 23rd July to Monday 28th September; may be extended or shortened based on company needs or term‑time commitments.
