As Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the restaurant management team in delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining the highest standards of service. You will lead by example on the floor, guiding the team to provide attentive, personalised service that reflects the refined and elegant St.Regis brand. This role is ideal for a confident and service‑driven professional with a passion for hospitality and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day operation of the restaurant, ensuring seamless and efficient service
- Lead, motivate and coordinate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor dining areas for service standards, seating availability, guest satisfaction and overall ambience
- Conduct opening and closing duties, ensuring all areas, equipment and supplies are prepared and secured
- Oversee stock control, including inventory checks, ordering and maintaining appropriate supply levels
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly with professionalism and care
- Assist with training, scheduling and performance management of team members
- Act as a role model, providing coaching and guidance to support team development
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and support administrative tasks as required
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity and service quality
Core Competencies
- Proven experience in a high-end restaurant environment, ideally within a luxury hotel
- Previous supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a high‑pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
