Availability Window

• Sunday: 08:00 – 18:00
• Wednesday: 18:00 – 23:00
• Friday: 13:00 – 23:00
• Saturday: 13:00 – 23:00

Benefits and Hours

• Pay starts from £14.18 an hour, increasing to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
• Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week; flexible options available down to 12 hours.
• Three weeks’ notice of shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure van and trays are clean, tidy, and organized.
• Leave the back yard clean, tidy, and free of rubbish; pick up litter as needed.
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
• Load the van efficiently and check its roadworthiness.
• Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds as needed.
• Treat products and deliveries with care.
• Explain to customers that they will not be charged for substitutions.
• Deliver during the customer’s time slot.
• Call the customer before arriving at the property if arriving early.
• Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit and support the shop.
• Show warmth and courtesy in interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and embrace change at the store.
• Share ideas with managers and colleagues to improve service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Minimum age 18 years; suitable for early/late shifts and warehouse operations.
