About the role:

Justteachers is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join a lively and dynamic secondary school in Peterborough.

This is an fantastic role for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone with the presence and passion to lead a classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons confidently across a range of subjects
• Maintain a calm, focused, and safe learning environment
• Manage behaviour effectively, using school systems and your own strong presence
• Support students in lesson staying engaged and on task
• Build positive relationships with staff and learners

Pre-requisites:

• Strong classroom presence and confidence
• Experience working with young people (school-based, coaching, youth work, mentoring, etc.)
• Ability to remain calm, assertive, and consistent
• Resilience and adaptability in a challenging environment
• A genuine desire to support students’ progress and wellbeing
