Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking to make a real impact on young minds? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team on a job share basis (3 days per week, days to be agreed) helping to shape the future of our students.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports children and young people’s educational and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure student success.
  • Participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
  • Experience in teaching Food Technology – KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of working with children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
