Equans is looking for a Corporate Receptionist to join our team in Lumira, 9 Maxim Park, Eurocentral, Motherwell, ML1 4WQ, on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on skills and experience and a benefits package.
General Overview
To undertake Reception duties, which include but are not limited to welcoming visitors, answering the main switchboard, liaising with security services, assisting building users and the general public, issuing visitor passes and ensuring confidentiality processes and procedures are upheld.

Bathgate – 39 Inchmuir road, Bathgate, EH48 2EP
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all guests, clients, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
- Manage a sophisticated, multi‑line phone system efficiently, directing calls and taking accurate messages.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and calendar management for service delivery teams.
- Maintain a pristine and inviting reception area reflective of the premium site standards.
- Handle client inquiries promptly in person, by phone or email, providing accurate and courteous information.
- Support with administrative duties & tasks.
- Fulfil any health & safety responsibilities at all times.
- Completion of relevant paperwork as required, in line with company and client procedures.
- Raise any building faults so these can be rectified in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or front‑desk professional, preferably in premium corporate service environments.
- Good communicational skills & strong organisational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite or Google Workspace and digital scheduling tools; ability to quickly learn bespoke systems.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and work schedules as required.
