Skilled Assembly Operative (Final Fix) – Port Talbot

The rewards

£13.40 per hour, paid weekly. Temporary ongoing contract with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am to 12:00 noon. 40-hour paid week.

The role of the Skilled Assembly Operative

• Fabricating steel objects within the final fix and fill sections of the warehouse
• Detailed assembly work using hand tools and drills
• Hand finishing and quality checking
• Reading instructions and measurements
• Basic paperwork and IT duties

The ideal Skilled Assembly Operative

• Comfortable with detailed assembly work and high accuracy
• Able to read instructions and measurements
• Hardworking, motivated and willing to learn new skills
• Final fix assembly experience desirable
• Production manufacturing, DIY, toolmaker or carpentry experience advantageous

Based in Port Talbot. Working with bespoke product lines. Urgent requirement.
