About the Role

You will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach your specialism at Key Stage 5 if applicable. You’ll join a collaborative department committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons that excite and challenge students
• Assess, track, and report on student progress
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to curriculum planning and department initiatives
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and wider school life
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement

We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science)
• A passion for inspiring young people and making learning accessible
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A team player committed to professional growth
