Holiday Support Staff

Overview

We are always looking for the right people to join our team, helping to deliver positive and unfading memories. We accept applications throughout the year and are a Living Wage Employer.

Our aim is to provide the best possible respite outings and holidays for our clients and our support staff play a key role in achieving this. Through you we enable adults of all abilities to travel and experience a wide range of destinations, events and activities.

Responsibilities

• Supporter staff provide group and personal support as needed. We usually send two support staff on each of our holidays; more are sent if client needs require it. Our supporters take part in most activities and enable client participation throughout the holiday.

Qualifications and requirements

• Experience of working with adults with physical disabilities. We will also consider applications from people with relevant life experience, including lots of travel.
• Enjoy working as part of a team, think on your feet, and respond positively to new situations. Proactive attitude, good communication skills, patience and a good sense of humour.
• Desirable: driving license.
• Vetting: must be cleared through the PGV (Scotland) or DBS (England) vetting system, depending on location.
• Training will be provided as required.
• Note: this is a seasonal, part-time, self-employed role.
