Schedule & Pay
Work 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Pay rates begin at £14.30 per hour and may increase depending on experience. Transport links are offered from Preston city centre and surrounding areas, and free parking is provided on site.
Responsibilities
- Work with pupils in a range of lessons and support the teacher in delivering engaging activities.
- Assist with the behaviour management of students who may have autism, challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Brilliant communication skills, empathy and patience.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- At least 6 months of relevant experience or a relevant qualification.
- A genuine desire to make a difference to young people’s lives.
- Backgrounds such as care, coaching, youth work and support work are encouraged.
