Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential
Birmingham15.00-16.00 per hour 40+ Hours Per WeekTemp to Perm Days, Nights & Sleep-ins
We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers for children’s residential homes in Birmingham. You will support young people within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while leading shifts and supporting staff teams.
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Experience within children’s residential care
- Experience leading shifts/staff
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home
- Promote positive behaviour and independence
- Safeguard children and young people
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Work closely with management and external professionals
- Enhanced DBS and full compliance checks required
