Overview
Orka Financial is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their client’s finance team, based in Wallingford. This role would suit a candidate who is keen to take full responsibility for the accounts payable function, with the opportunity to be exposed to wider finance tasks. It’s a fantastic chance to develop your career in a growing business while working in a collaborative and professional environment. An AAT/ACCA studier would suit this position.
Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and timely
- Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with payment runs and month-end procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
- Take ownership of the accounts payable function and contribute to wider finance processes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounts payable or finance support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Team player with excellent communication skills

Salary up to £35,000 depending upon experience – hybrid working model.
