Overview

Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective HMC co‑educational independent school with 1,900 pupils, located 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street. We are recruiting a passionate and ambitious graduate to join our Physics Department as a full‑time teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Physics at Key Stage 3, IGCSE and Sixth Form.
  • Deliver Pearson IGCSE Physics, Double Award Science, AQA A Level and IB Sixth Form courses.
  • Engage in a collaborative department environment, mentoring and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Recent graduate or career‑changer with a strong interest in physics.
  • Full PGCE sponsorship available through the University of Buckingham (or ISTIP support for holders of a PGCE).
  • Commitment to structured training, QTS acquisition and continuous professional growth.
