We are looking for a motivated Prospect Research Volunteer to join our Fundraising Team and help identify and contact potential donors, partners, and funding opportunities. Your research will support our fundraising strategy and help the organization grow its impact.

What will you be doing?
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct prospect research to support the fundraising strategy by identifying potential donors, foundations, companies, and partners. This includes gathering and analyzing publicly available information to understand a potential donor’s interests, giving capacity, and alignment with our mission.
- Identify and suggest new funding opportunities and potential partners to strengthen the fundraising pipeline.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, provide updates on research progress, brainstorm ideas, and share insights with the team.
Additional responsibilities
- Compile and organize research findings in internal documents or databases to support fundraising planning.
- Assist with mapping and tracking prospects throughout the fundraising process.
- Contribute ideas for fundraising strategies, campaigns, or partnerships.
- Collaborate with team members to translate research insights into actionable fundraising steps.
- Stay informed about trends in philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and relevant funding opportunities.
