Location: Ashford | Contract: Permanent | Pay: £30,000–£35,000 per annum (DOE) | Hours: Full‑time, 45 hours per week, 5 days per week
Role Overview
HRGo Recruitment Ashford is working with Bank Farm to find an experienced Sous Chef for a permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional looking to take the next step in their career within a well‑established and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
- Prepare and cook high‑quality dishes to a consistent standard
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times
- Manage stock, order supplies and minimise waste
- Step up in the Head Chef’s absence
- Supportive and friendly working environment
- Immediate start available for the right candidate
The Right Person Will Have
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie looking to step up
- A passion for producing quality food consistently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
- A calm, organised approach under pressure
