Retail Operations Intern (6 months)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Store, Stock & Inventory

• Maintaining the store and stockrooms to the highest standard
• Support with deliveries
• Carry out daily replenishment for the shop floor to ensure that sales are maximised at all times (each item is labelled appropriately and is pressed / steamed)
• Ensuring the effective movement of stock within the store and elsewhere
• Responsible for ad hoc stock related operations in the store, maintain bathroom and front of house etc
• Carry out stocktakes

Marketing/PR/Event Management

• Supporting with all sample send outs for VIP and editorial shoots Assist in managing VIP and press appointments
• Marketing PR / Event management support as required Update Sample Tracker – ensure pieces are called back Support in locating samples for E-Comm shoots
• Support with shoots and sample collections

REQUIREMENTS

• Similar experience working a fast-moving store or stockroom or warehouse environment / events management.
• Retail, marketing, or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to use own initiative and be proactive.
• Good team player.
• Stock movement.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a can-do attitude
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office platforms, word, excel etc. and Zedonk experience preferred.
