Location: Specialized Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Job Summary
An integral position within the Specialized UK Retail Team; the Workshop Technician must excel at delivering service, working to timeframes, empathising with riders’ needs and committed to deliver above targets for the workshop and store team.
Responsibilities
- Serving customers in-store, by phone and other digital communication tools.
- Building and checking bikes for display and prior to rider handover.
- Checking in riders’ bikes and repairing as per job expectation.
- Processing warranty work, deliveries and stock transfers.
- Completing stock checks and accurately recording anomalies.
- General cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Professional and friendly conduct at all times.
- Completing any reasonable request made by leadership.
Qualifications
- Technically excellent with all manner of product.
- Sound diagnostic capability.
- Sound product knowledge and the drive to learn continuously.
- Empathy for riders to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Shop floor, selling experience.
- Numeracy and literacy skills.
- Clear and effective communicator and diagnostics.
- I.T. skills to operate in store systems.

Reporting to: Workshop Manager.
