Evening Facilities Assistant – Catering, Laundry & Domestic

We are currently seeking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to join our team in Belford Hospital. The successful applicant will provide services to the Catering, Laundry and Domestic services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid‑19 guidance, NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification and Waste Regulations.
• Adhere to specified cleaning schedules and promote high standards of cleanliness within the environment.
• Regenerate meals and prepare salads, sandwiches and snacks for the catering duties.
• Maintain laundry services to the standard of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.

Working hours and pay

• Part‑time role available Mon‑Fri 1800‑2100, with potential weekend coverage if required.
• Rate of pay from £14.22 per hour, with an attractive weekend working rate.
