Flamborough CE (VC) Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to support children’s learning in the classroom and through targeted interventions.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide effective support for pupils, including supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The role will involve helping children to build confidence, make progress and achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

• Build positive relationships with children
• Engage and motivate pupils in their learning
• Remain patient, calm and understanding of individual needs
• Support children with SEND effectively through 1:1 and small group support
• Work effectively with teaching staff and the SENCO
