Responsibilities
- Drive a range of vehicles – 3.5T, 7.5T and HGV Class 2 – where required
- Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle
- Manual sweeping of streets and other areas, including footways, alleys, subways, under and around street furniture
- Utilise onboard technology in real time to record task confirmation and crew‑related issues
- Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes
- Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure the work environment is safe and clean at all times
Essential Requirements
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Up‑to‑date CPC / DIGI card
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Prior experience in the waste industry
