Job Description
Job Title: Metallic Operator
Reports to: Metallic Team Leader
Direct Reports: None
Purpose of Role: Supporting the manufacture of thermal insulation components including ducts, pipes, blankets and stretch‑formed material to ensure they conform to customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately interpret and complete production route cards (Technical Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Data Sheets).
- Maintain good housekeeping standards of the work area implementing Safety + 5 S methods (Sort, Set, Standardise, Shine, Sustain).
- Achieve company work & quality standards by applying your skills and knowledge and taking pride in your work.
- Participate in team‑based activities to meet productivity and on‑time delivery targets.
- Work in line with the Company Values (Safety, Accountability, Respect & Trust, Integrity, Excellence, Customer Focus) and demonstrate the associated behaviours in your daily work.
- Consistently follow Health, Safety & Environmental procedures, including wearing the required personal protective equipment provided.
- Complete training as required and apply the learning in performing operations to demonstrate competence.
- Perform all reasonable requests made by management.
