To strengthen our operations in Maidstone, we are looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative. The working pattern is Wednesday through Sunday on a night shift basis, with start times between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM and finish times between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM. Overtime opportunities are available.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you are responsible for ensuring that daily warehouse operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with Driscoll’s quality standards. You play a key part in maintaining product integrity and ensuring our customers receive the best possible berries.Unloading, receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently and accuratelySupporting day-to-day packhouse operationsPicking and preparing customer orders, including cross-docking activitiesSafely operating Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)Ensuring stock accuracy through regular checks and auditsMaintaining accurate records using warehouse systems and scannersAdhering to cold chain management to protect product quality and shelf lifeFollowing health & safety, hygiene, and environmental standards at all timesCollaborating closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operationsCandidate ProfileAs a Warehouse Operative, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of our products through the warehouse and packhouse. You will be involved in all aspects of the operation, from receiving goods to preparing customer orders, always safeguarding product quality and maintaining our high standards.Working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment, you contribute directly to delivering fresh berries in perfect condition to our customers.What you bringYou are a reliable and hands-on team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment.
