Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) – Center-Based

Full‑Time | Monday-Friday | Fall River, MA | $21.00-$26.00

Role Overview

As a Center‑Based Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with young children (typically ages 18 months‑6 years) to support skill development through play‑based, individualized ABA therapy. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, consistency, and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
  • Use play, movement, and creativity to engage children
  • Collect accurate session data and progress notes
  • Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills
  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to support each child’s success
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment

Pay Ranges (Based on Education & Experience)

  • High School Diploma / Associate’s Degree: $21.00 – $26.00/hour
  • Bachelor’s Degree: $22.00 – $26.00/hour

Additional Factors That May Increase Starting Pay

  • Prior experience working in ABA or related behavioral health settings
  • Higher levels of education or relevant coursework
  • Fluency in additional languages that support the families we serve
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., RBT certification)

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations throughout the session
  • Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, elopement, or self‑injurious behaviors
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to support coverage at nearby centers if needed
  • No prior ABA experience required – we train you

  • Special education, psychology, sociology, or related studies
